This body of work came to fruition when Brouwer moved to London in 2022. He started documenting and sampling Victorian motifs found in the city’s architecture. This chair explored the two dimensional geometries found in Victorian architecture in London.

Having grown up in Amsterdam I started looking at the 1930’s expressionist movement called The Amsterdam School. These curvaceous and compositional motifs led to production of this table, synthesising motifs and different architectural scales of the city.
